What to do when you don’t feel motivated to walk

Hello Reader,

Some days, you’ll feel ready to walk. Other days, you may find yourself waiting for the motivation to show up first.

On those days, try making the decision smaller. Instead of asking, “Can I get back to my old routine?” ask, “What walk feels manageable today?”

That might mean taking a shorter route, walking at an easier pace, or choosing another day if you need rest. You can adjust the plan without giving up on your goal.

This is one of the ideas I explore in my free three-video Recovery Series. It’s for people who want walking to become a steady part of rebuilding their health and fitness.

I’d also like to hear from you: What makes it hardest to keep walking right now? Hit reply and tell me. Your answer will help me make future emails more useful.

Walk on,
